At a glance

What it replaces

Fractionof the usual cost

Accessible guidance at a fraction of what a traditional first consultation costs.

3things it does

Interprets the situation, explains the options, generates the paperwork.

Real timesavings

Time back for individuals and businesses navigating complex legal requirements.

Documentsnot just advice

The output is the paperwork itself, which is where most legal tools stop.

The brief

Legal problems rarely begin with a clear question. They begin with a situation, and someone who does not know which parts of it matter. Turning that into a defined legal position is the work a first consultation does, and it is billed accordingly.

That pricing is rational for the lawyer and disastrous for access. The people who most need to know where they stand are exactly the ones who cannot justify paying to find out, so they guess, delay, or sign something they have not understood.

The expensive hour is the one that just works out what kind of problem you have.

How it works

Situation in, paperwork out

Stage 01

The user describes their situation in their own words, and Brihaspati works out what it is in legal terms.

Stage 02

Explain

The options are laid out in language the user can actually weigh, rather than named and left.

Stage 03

Generate

The paperwork the chosen option requires is produced, which is the step that turns advice into action.

Stage 04

Proceed

The user leaves with a position they understand and the documents that position needs.

The build

Why generation is the point

Plenty of tools will explain a legal concept. Far fewer will produce the document that follows from it, and that gap is where users get stranded — informed enough to know what they need, still unable to produce it without paying someone.

Document generation is what closes that loop. Brihaspati's output is not a summary of the law, it is the paperwork, which is why the saving is measured against a consultation rather than against a search engine.

The result the project claims is deliberately bounded: accessible guidance at a fraction of the usual cost, with real time savings for individuals and businesses navigating complex legal requirements. It is a first mile product, not a substitute for representation.

Questions

Brihaspati, answered

An AI powered alternative to the slow, expensive first mile of legal consultation. It interprets a user's situation, explains the available options and generates the paperwork those options require.

What makes it different from a legal chatbot?

The output. Most tools explain concepts and stop. Brihaspati produces the documents the situation calls for, which is the step that lets a user actually proceed.

Who is it for?

Individuals and businesses navigating complex legal requirements, particularly at the point where they need to establish their position before committing to representation.

Does it replace a lawyer?

No. It addresses the first mile, the interpretation and paperwork stage that is disproportionately expensive relative to its complexity. Representation is a separate matter.
