At a glance
What the redesign set out to fix
A competitive landscape analysis is what produced a position rather than a preference.
An online collaborative workshop pulled the positioning out of the people who hold it.
Branding and functionality that had been built for one market, rebuilt for several.
Low engagement traced directly to a site with nothing to interact with.
The brief
A storytelling company whose own story had dated
Honest Create builds the presentations that help founders raise from VCs, and help VCs raise from their own limited partners. Storytelling is literally the product, which makes an outdated brand a credibility problem rather than a cosmetic one.
Three things were named: branding misaligned with an ambition to expand globally, a website short on modern aesthetics and international functionality, and low engagement traceable to the absence of any interactive element.
For a company that sells narrative, the website is the portfolio piece prospects judge first.
The build
Hierarchy first, motion second
The structural work came before the visual work: content reorganised, navigation streamlined, and information arranged hierarchically with multimedia carrying what text alone was failing to. That is what a storytelling company's own site has to demonstrate rather than claim.
On top of it, dynamic animations and interactive features address the specific diagnosis, low engagement from a static site. Delivered with Bootstrap for responsiveness, JavaScript libraries for the motion, and a CDN behind it.
Honest Create reports enhanced global appeal, increased engagement with reduced bounce rates, improved lead generation from the US and international markets, and stronger brand consistency.
How it was done

It is a design and storytelling company specialising in presentations for startups and investors, helping founders secure VC funding and helping VCs raise from limited partners.

What changed as a result?
Enhanced global appeal from the refined identity, increased engagement with lower bounce rates, improved lead generation from US and international markets, and stronger brand consistency.
